Stars In Fancy-Dress Frenzy For New BBC Trail

Keep your eyes on the box this weekend to catch the premier of the brand new BBC trailer that aims to encourage the entire nation to enter the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile.

The laugh-out-loud promo benefits from a stellar cast including the delectable David Tennant as never seen before.

It tells the story of ten year old Reece Donn who’s on the hunt for someone to join him in doing the Mile on Sunday 25th March as the other half of his panto horse.

Despite putting in calls to Dermot O’Leary, Amir Khan and Jenson Button, it’s a certain Mr Tennant who tries to save the day, but things don’t quite go to plan!

Talking about filming with one of his all-time heroes, little Reece from Essex said, ’It was the best day of my life filming with David Tennant.’

And it seems he wasn’t the only one to enjoy the filming of the ad.

BBC Sport presenter Clare Balding tweeted a series of pictures of her, retired jockey Willie Carson and professional boxer Amir Khan all dressed up saying ‘We are in a launderette. I am a crocodile. Willie Carson is dressed as a crab. Natch. Just hanging out while we wait for the dryer to finish. You know how it is. If you missed it earlier and need a smile, this was Amir Khan as a very fine prawn. Only Sport Relief can do this.’

To see these stars and many more in their fancy-dress finery – and to discover what happens when David Tennant gets a bit too saucy for Sport Relief – watch BBC TV this weekend.
